Director

Dato’ ChM. Hj. Khairul Shahril, also known as Khairul, is an experienced entrepreneur. As Director of Xtreme, he has been instrumental in bringing the company to its current state. To date, Xtreme has managed many types of exhibits for a variety of event organisers from the public sector and the corporate sector.

Masitah Samat

Project Director

Masitah is the first woman CEO in Malaysian Event and Exhibition company. Trained in Electronics Engineering, she worked through the ranks in Motorola subsidiaries based in Malaysia and Singapore before taking on the role as a woman entrepreneur in a male-dominated industry. Her journey to a successful company was filled with events in which will transform her into a straight-talking, no-nonsense without losing sight of what the customer wants and demands.

Dato’ ChM. Hj. Khairul Shahril, also known as Khairul, is an experienced entrepreneur. As Director of Xtreme, he has been instrumental in bringing the company to its current state. To date, Xtreme has managed many types of exhibits for a variety of event organisers from the public sector and the corporate sector.

He is also in charge of HQC Commerce Sdn. Bhd. HQC Commerce is a leading HALAL solution provider in Malaysia, including advisory and consulting services, human capital development, e-commerce platforms, and business transactions. Under his direction, the business has assisted over a thousand customers in acquiring halal certificates.

Prior to entering the private sector, he held several positions for the Government of Malaysia under the Administrative and Diplomatic Scheme, including Special Officer to the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Principal Assistant Secretary at Policy and Strategic Division, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Co-operative and Consumerism, and Director (Management) Department of Veteran Affairs, Ministry of Defense.

Khairul is also the Executive Chairman of Nutraceutical Biotech Sdn Bhd, as well as the Chairman of the Malaysian Community and Socio Economic Development Foundation Malaysia and the Darul Kifayah Organization Malaysia. Previously, he served as a member of the Board of Directors for Awqaf Holding Berhad and as Secretary-General for the Malaysia Islamic Chamber of Commerce.

Khairul holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The National University of Malaysia, a Master of Science in International Cooperation Policy (Development Economics) from APU Ritsumeikan University Japan, and is currently a candidate for a Ph.D. in Business Administration at the International University of Malaya-Wales. In addition, he is a Licensed Chemist (M/5180/8512/19) under the Malaysia Institute of Chemistry.

She worked hard and able to demonstrate what she could do better than the industry by being more creative and setting a higher benchmark for herself. Her influence also extends beyond grooming a business on her own. She is often asked to share her thoughts to many convention centre in Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC) and Putrajaya international Convention Centre (PICC) with regards to area concerned with the safety, health and occupational safety.

Today, Masitah is known as a role model for female entrepreneurs in the industry and exceptionally well-known amongst her peers in the industry. She continues to champion for equal opportunities and elevating the standards of the exhibition industry.
